Chris RogersonYoung Concert Artists is proud to announce that 21-year-old Chris Rogerson has been chosen as the 2010-2012 Young Concert Artists' Composer in Residence by a panel of distinguished YCA Alumni.

Rogerson will write his first work for pianist Charlie Albright, who will premiere the work in his Washington debut in the Young Concert Artists Series at the Kennedy Center on February 14, 2011 and in his New York debut in the Young Concert Artists Series in Merkin Hall on March 8, 2011.

Rogerson joins the roster of YCA and receives two YCA commissions and YCA management services, which will bring national performances of his music and new commissions.
