October 12, 2023 (New York, NY) — Young Concert Artists (YCA) announced today the selection of 38 musicians to advance to the semi-finals of the annual Susan Wadsworth International Auditions. Hailing from around the world, these young musicians were selected from more than 150 applicants, and were assessed for their artistic excellence, technical mastery, stage presence, and performance potential.
YCA Director of Programs and Auditions Erol Gurol said, “We were honored to have had so many burgeoning young musicians audition for us this year; we are impressed by the heightened level of musicality and maturity these artists bring, and we look forward to seeing what they will bring to the semi-finals.”
