Join us for three special events!
December 2, 3:00PM EST: Aristo Sham sits down with YCA President Daniel Kellogg in advance of his upcoming YCA debut to discuss his connection to each piece on the program. Watch here!
December 9, 7:30PM EST: Aristo Sham makes his virtual YCA debut as an exploration of musical idiom and color. He contrasts the evocative textures of Debussy’s Images, Book 2 with the monumental Romanticism of the Brahms Sonata No. 3 in F minor. Aristo will also present the world premiere of Vignettes, a new composition by YCA Composer-in-Residence, Saad Haddad. Watch with us on YCA’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
December 12, 2:00PM EST: For this special matinee performance, Aristo has chosen two favorite works: Mozart’s Piano Sonata in D major, K. 567, and Carl Vine’s Piano Sonata No. 1. Join us and get to know the music – Aristo will share his knowledge about each piece before performing. Watch with us on YCA’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
“I invite you to join me on a journey of universal emotions, an exploration of musical idiom and color. This program charts the profound depths of romantic masters and the blistering new paths forged by our contemporary innovators.”
