“The seedling at the heart of my debut program is the friendship and mutual inspiration born in 19th century Paris between Polish composer Fréderic Chopin, and Spanish mezzo-soprano and acclaimed pianist Pauline Viardot. Come experience the fascinating connectivity between vocal and piano literature, as well as the dramatic contrast between composers who, carrying their own traditions, somehow end up in the same place – just as we will in the concert hall.”
