The Annaliese Soros Educational Residency Program
YCA artists teach masterclasses, perform, and lead interactive question and answer sessions in schools and colleges nationwide. Through this program, our artists communicate with audiences of all ages and inspire future music lovers.
Modern artists need to be more than simply gifted, highly-trained musicians – they must also be storytellers, entrepreneurs, innovators, business-people, and artist citizens empowered to boldly communicate the power of music. What are the skills needed to shape a life in music that is both satisfying and sustainable? How can a musician become a company of one? What tools will best support the working musician?
YCA is committed to helping a new generation of musicians realize their goals for a self-empowered and self-directed career in music. Through a broad range of career guidance and insight from industry experts, YCA staff, and creative musicians, the YCA Career Catalyst offers a host of resources for learning and growth. The Career Catalyst houses a wealth of online content made available to young musicians at no cost. Check out our weekly blog and video series, as well as our online courses, and soon we will expand to offer career development workshops in NYC, and possible partnerships with music schools and festivals. The world is a better place when creative artists thrive!
